I need to watch it again. I feel like I missed half of it in darkness, though I realize most of what I missed didn't matter. The most shocking thing on the first watch was who didn't die.
Parts of it dragged and the ending was too quick. They could have evened things out a bit. Still there were some really good character moments. I'm a little worried about the pace of the next 2 episodes.
If I was a northerner that survived that somehow, I'm done. Fuck Cersei. I'll just stay north and protect myself.

Daenerys comes and rescues the north, sacrifices her army & one of her dragons and this guy is like, well thanks for that now fuck off your problems arent my problems.

I loved it.
Surprised the death count on main characters was so low but I enjoyed it.
Dragon fights were a bit confusing and not sure which survived in the end.
I notice GRRM was involved in this one so you got to trust it’s what he wanted.
Does that make Arya the prince that was promised?
Overall though I thought it was great.

I also thought the musical score was killer.
The director for this ep is also down as doing ep 5 so I expect that to be a big one as well.

Red Witch saved the day when she told Arya, “and the blue eyes”.
Apparently she’s said that to Arya earlier on in the series, so it’s clever that it was setup way back then.
