Since I just heard Slash play it a week ago, I expect I will think it is fine, but lacks the feel of Slash. I hope he doesn't butcher it. I also suspect I will say something to the effect of nobody can sing the songs like Axl.
DJ has a tendency to fuck up the intro, then rebound it. Not near as bad as Robin though.

True or not, Axl's problem now is the same one it's always been.
You promote FIRST, then sell.
He always tries to do it the other way around. Most people don't even know he's still fucking breathing. I haven't seen ANY internet promotion. The only people this appeals to are his diehards (like Russ who are always willing to take a dip in the Strip and catch a show), and locals who see every fucking show known to man.
I don't see why this couldn't appeal to the party crowd in Vegas, but the thing is -- where's the MODERN DAY PROMO? This shit is being promoted like it's 1967 and Sinatra's in town.
I still think it'd help if there was a NEW song on the radio other than fucking November Rain to kind of remind people there's an actual band there that doesn't consist of Slash and they're doing stuff.
