Re: The GnREvolution "Best of Grunge" Compilation
Based on the Tourney..then to give it some diversity I capped it at 2 songs max per artist, didnt bother with a running order but did make sure it fits on a CD..anyway i think its pretty representative of the genre.

02. Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns (8:02)
03. L7 - Pretend We're Dead (3:53)
04. Screaming Trees - Nearly Lost You (4:07)
05. Sound Garden - Fell On Black Days (4:42)
06. Stone Temple Pilots - Plush (5:13)
07. Hole - Doll Parts (3:31)
08. Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (5:01)
09. Alice in Chains - No Excuses (4:15)
10. Nirvana - Come As You Are (3:39)
11. Mad Season - River of Deceit (5:04)
12. Pearl Jam - Even Flow (4:53)
13. Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike (4:03)
14. Pearl Jam - Black (5:44)
15. Alice in Chains - Rooster (6:15)
Running Time: 73:68min
Re: The GnREvolution "Best of Grunge" Compilation
List is solid, order is a mindfuck.
But Rooster saved it in the end. Like I said earlier, grunge's Estranged.
Russ is right, that's a helluva a disc when all is said n' done. Just the fact that something like Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns is number 2 on the list, and you still have stuf flike Fell On Black Days, No Excuses, Come As You Are, Even Flow, Hunger Strike, Black & Rooster to get to... damn.

Take that shitty Bush track off there, and it's pretty decent compilation.
I never understood why Bush received as much praise as they did. A shitty band that came along and tried to emulate Pearl Jam, the same as Creed did, and did it badly.

You're preaching to my choir. The fascination with them was a head scratcher.
That grunge madness sucked but I'll admit that is a damn good compilation.
Re: The GnREvolution "Best of Grunge" Compilation
I was/am a big fan of their first 2 albums, even got he chance to see them live during the razorblade suitcase tour...they sounded awesome...and i got to se veruca salt open for them too
Rossdale has some pretty cool lyrics IMO and they had some fabulous imagery in their videos
