Based on the Tourney..then to give it some diversity I capped it at 2 songs max per artist, didnt bother with a running order but did make sure it fits on a CD..anyway i think its pretty representative of the genre.

List is solid, order is a mindfuck.

But Rooster saved it in the end. Like I said earlier, grunge's Estranged.

Russ is right, that's a helluva a disc when all is said n' done. Just the fact that something like Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns is number 2 on the list, and you still have stuf flike Fell On Black Days, No Excuses, Come As You Are, Even Flow, Hunger Strike, Black & Rooster to get to... damn. 9

That is a pretty sweet list.

When did Pearl Jam - Alive get knocked out in the tourney and by whom?  It didn't even make the sweet 16?  It must've had a tough matchup.

Take that shitty Bush track off there, and it's pretty decent compilation.

I never understood why Bush received as much praise as they did. A shitty band that came along and tried to emulate Pearl Jam, the same as Creed did, and did it badly.

You're preaching to my choir. The fascination with them was a head scratcher.

That grunge madness sucked but I'll admit that is a damn good compilation.
