Less nicotine in cigarettes... it's logical.
(that is if you are a major tobacco company who will greatly profit off of the increase demand for cigarettes due to the less harmful factor which will lead to new smokers more willing to try it out and old smokers consuming more to get the same feeling)

I personally think that tobacco is just being slowly phased out so that universal health care can be more feasible. Been saying it ever since they started banning it in public places. I also wouldn't be surprised if the gov starts messing with alchohol amounts in drinks as well to reduce the amount of accidents/diseases. I'm all for that and much more.

While I would never support prohibition, I would support a government crackdown on alcohol, and also think there should be mandatory sentences for people who drink and drive. Thousands of young people are killed every year due to alcohol. Before someone says "cigs kill too!!!", there's a big difference in a 9 year old's face being splattered across a highway than an 80 year old man dying in a rest home from lung cancer.
I remember in 2004 when I got pulled over by the cops and arrested for DUI. Didn't bust me for possession for some reason, but I went to jail for driving under the influence of marijuana. I remember as he was cuffing me, I told him his time would be better spent parked outside of a bar. Dumb ass didn't even say anything because he knew I was right.

They tried Prohibition once before. It was a disaster, and it will never be that regulated ever again.
What they need to do, is instead of wasting all these tax dollars brainwashing kids to hate a virtually harmless drug, simply because they can't tax it.... how 'bout they spend their time teaching kids the absolutely fatal and devastating effects of alcohol use, instead of letting music artists shove more propaganda down their throats about how getting shit faced and getting behind the wheel of a car, or fucking a really drunk girl is super cool, and kids across the nation DIE every year from alcohol poisoning at these really fucking lame college keger parties.
But no, I gotta have the man slap the cuffs on me, because i'm trying to get some relief for my back pain.
