I'd actually dig it even more if the guitar solo section was more 70's glam with heavier guitars.

If I could ever get a stripped down, Robinless CD, I'd be really interested to see what I thought of it.  Some of my favorite UYI songs are the Axl epics, so I have to believe that I would like at least some of the CD songs at their core.  Between the clutter, the mixing/production, and Robin, I just can't get into it.

CD to me is just Axl trying too hard for awhile, then just giving up.

I like it, but I love the ChiDem version in all its glossy glory so it's not a surprise. It is cool to hear more of the orchestration but I like the solo as much as any other on the record.
