As much as I loved seeing GNR live and as great a show it was, his solo spots were excruciatingly bad. People were actually looking at each other laughing. It was mind boggling as he nailed all his spots on the songs perfectly.
He could have stuck a microphone into a bag full of cats and swung it around for 5 minutes and created something more recognisable as "music".

I dig the fact out of pretty much anything to do with Robin and I love all his work on CD.

But I gotta go ahead and agree. I was watching a bunch of GNR boots with a budy of mind the other day. We got to the Robin solo before SCOM at the first Hammerstein show and I had totally forgot how bad it was. I just didn't get it at all.

i mean i think the song on the album is great...but hearing the guitar by itself its pretty bad...like i couldnt even play that by myself cuz there is just no flow to it...there has to be a rhythm track as well...if i didnt know i wouldnt even be able to tell what song it was

So which bit is robin on this? I get so confussed in gnr sometimes. Who is it at 2:45?
