Re: On Truth, The Man Who Wasn't There and Happy Endings
Axl doesn't even get a happy ending cause he can't stop blaming everyone else for his failures to get out there and succeed.
just like CD
who gives a fuck if the label didn't "Support" it
doesn't stop him from getting his monkey ass on a plane and doing radio and press and late night and print interviews... international press etc etc etc etc.
HE LET THIS FUCKING THING FAIL
he can blame it on label, Slash, this n that but reality is.. he FUCKED himself.
Everything was lined up for him to take back over the throne and he showed up fat, with predator braids and was out of breath during VMA's....
no album.. weird looking band
he FUCKING BLEW IT
until he takes responsibility, he will never have peace or success.

Every ounce of information that I have gathered both publicly, privately, and in dark lit car garages late at night...
THIS IS TRUTH. Axl botched it. Unfortunately you're gonna get tons of people talking about the label, but they don't know everything.
I don't want to blame Axl's entourage, because AXL and only AXL is the one that sent them out there like blind sheep/fish out of water to deal with execs he didn't want to deal with.
And it cost Axl, and GN'R fans everywhere DEARLY. Irrepairable.
Re: On Truth, The Man Who Wasn't There and Happy Endings
Reason Slash and others get a pass and Axl doesn't, is simply cause at least those guys fucking TRY
If Slash's new CD bombs.... I will still applaud him, cause he was out there busting his ass with no help from anyone to make it successful.
Axl has a habit, of taking his ball and going home, when things aren't catered or easy for him.
that is why he gets such a shitstorm.. cause people know, he could do way more.
same with CD.. if he did HIS part... I'd applaud his efforts and defend him till the bitter end. but just cause someone doesn't "HELP" u, that means u can go into hiding and not do shit?
that is piss poor.

If those things are true, why is GN'R about to launch another successful European tour?
Getting a little ahead of ourselves aren't we?
I don't pay much attention, but I think some of them are festivals, which will be "successful" on some level assuming they show up (which they have recently).
Re: On Truth, The Man Who Wasn't There and Happy Endings
Some concerts are already sold out and most of them are selling pretty well. Check ticketmaster or any vendor according to the location and simulate buying tickets.
In US tickets sell poorly for GN'R but worldwide it's a beast.
Re: On Truth, The Man Who Wasn't There and Happy Endings
South America & Australia seem to be rock hungry, and I agree it's a beast. Axl could drop the name, and i'm convinced still headline massive venues.
Europe i'm still caucious of, and am reserving comment on.
I'll be watching and waiting to see what happens. I don't know if this jaunt will be effortless. Alot of pissed off diehards in that region who bought tix before Axl's big dump.
