Re: Bon Jovi fan club members getting screwed
I guess what used to be a fabulously run fan club recently was taken over by Jon's brother a couple years ago and ever since they've been ripping off the loyal fans/members.

Funny - Jon Bon Jovi with hired musicians. That made me chuckle.
I figured out of ALL the information in that article THAT would be the first thing to be brought up. How about the cost to see Jon Bon Jovi with hired musicians? $350. I've never HAD to pay that much to see any lead singer with hired musicians, or better yet any BAND.

For $20 a year, you get access to concert tickets, a news magazine that is published a few times a year and every Christmas and an exclusive 45 RPM record with two rare songs on it. Pearl Jam makes their fans feel like family. This was highlighted in August 2007 when Pearl Jam was headlining the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. As a special treat to their most dedicated fans, they did a fan club only show at the Vic Theater in Chicago. The $75 ticket price was spot on and the band delivered with a set that made the most cynical and crazed fan wet their pants. No hits were performed and this show was done as a “thank you” to the fans.
Now that's what I'm talking about. It's a shame this is an exception to the rule for most bands. It only takes a couple of hours and your fans will love you till the end of time.

I know, I'm a bit jealous of the Ten Club. I used to be a huge Pearl Jam fan. They were #2 right behind GNR. I bought all their albums up until Binaural, really lost intense interest after No Code. I loved their first 3 albums, but after that it was downhill for me. I finally got to see them live over the summer (and coincidentally the Ten Club members got screwed over at the show. They had to stand in line for hours to get their tickets and ended up missing part of the show. I think that was the venue's fault though). It was a great show, maybe I should've stuck with them?
