Is "Sorry" Axl's F.U. to the fans?

The more I listen this song, the more I believe it's about the fans. Partially, at least. Funny, that a Fuck You to the fans can be the biggest fan favourite off the album. Guess you have to be a mazochist to be a true Axl fan.

I think it's about the pressures of mgmt & record industry execs, media etc.. Just pressure of being a rock star.

One verse which makes me pretty sure it's NOT about the fans is:

You tell them stories they'd rather believe
Use an' confuse them
They're numb and naive

Because the "They" in those lines has to be the fans. So the "You" would be somebody else.

Maybe its directed more towards all the fake insiders and bullshitters then. I still think its mostly about Slash but I also think aspects of it cross over to other areas, the fans or certain fans being one possible area.

I think I figured this one out. I have been analyzing "Sorry" repeatedly, as to who is referring to.

That part that leads to "I'll kick your ass like I said that I would..." and later "You tell them stories, they're numb and naive" is clearly directed at Mr. Mick Wall and it references "Get in the Ring" where Mr. Rose initially threatened to kick Dick Small's arse.....
