Re: zeitgeist
I havn't seen it yet. But Skelly told me that it's awesome. Mind you she had a few wild theories about it too...like that CD was delayed because Axl was bribed by economists who don't want to loose their control over the working classes or some such theory. sounded a bit extreme to me!
Re: zeitgeist
Lol, I've seen it many times of course. Is this the first one? There's a second one out called addendum which is also great.
Best part of the films are the Federal Reserve since as opposed to the religion and 9/11 stuff it is so cut and dry, and fucking sinister.
Re: zeitgeist
I posted this about the Illuminati at another site. It's basically background information for what Zeitgeist is talking about. Some of you might enjoy it.
The origins of the Brotherhood can be seen in humanity's religious traditions, the myths and the beliefs through history. The story pretty much reads the same in every culture. Gods came to the earth from the heavens. They ruled as kings and created new man, in their own image. That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. This is why in ancient times they believed in gods contra God. It was just leader worship past down through the generations. Nobody knows what happened to them, these gods from the heavens. Somebody say there was a war, somebody say they left, somebody say they are still here in the shadows. We do know however that the new kings we see in recorded history where all fixated on their royal blood, they claimed to be descendants of the gods that the population believed in and that justified their power. Man has always demanded reason for a power's rule. Back then they went with higher birth, today it is the rule of the people. Both simple justifications for a few rules the many system.
Later on the different traditions and myths, diluted over the millenniums, were collected in what has today become the world religions. The belief in one god. The principle is still the same though. The Pope is the vicar of Christ. The medieval kings were connected to God. Today we have the Christian, Islamic, Jewish etc. society. The President (Primus Resident, First Citizen. Subconsciously associated with Augustus' secret dictatorship and great power in general) still goes "God Bless America". It's not humanity or the world, it's America. God blesses the system, the power. It's the exact same rhetoric.
This brotherhood, the descendants of the ancient rulers, real and imaginary, is what some today call the Illuminati. Not so much because they believe the Bavarian society from the 18th century still exist, but because they see their philosophies being realized and followed today. I'm still undecided if this is a conscious continuing plan or not, it is possible at the very top level if such a thing exists, but for now let's concentrate on what we know. The plan is self-perpetuated by a general belief in elite circles that they are of a certain bloodline and that they have certain traditions to honor. This is why the President and the corporate big shots go and perform mock human sacrifice to the owl god Morloch once a year. This is why society is loaded with symbolism, ancient symbolism. These people have an occult faith. Occult traditions. You have the fasces for example situated on both sides of the President when he delivers speeches. Not because it is a nazi symbol but because it's a power symbol. When you see it you instinctively know what it's about and you automatically consider it a natural authority. The all seeing eye is seen on the dollar bill, it is also the logo for CBS. These are things they want you to respect, to worship. As humanity has for thousands of years.
There was a study done at one of the big universities (Yale, Stanford) on peoples relationship to authority. Long story short a majority of people were willing to inject fellow humans and even innocent dog puppies with lethal electrical shocks simply because a Professor, an authority, told them so. Allowed them so. This a clue perhaps to why the german people, and others before them, so easily were swayed to do unspeakable acts? You think the pilots that dropped the bombs killing hundreds of thousands in an instant consider themselves criminals? Why?
Truths are not known, they are felt.
This is the truth of society. Even today with an unparalleled access to information, science and technology we have trouble coming to terms with what is true or not. Everybody knows there was something very wrong in the way the Iraq invasion happened, yet nothing is done. It's not because it isn't true, it's because the proper authority has yet to tell the people it's true. Only then does something become an accepted, proved conventional truth and effort applied to do something about it. It's never got anything to do with the facts, even though they naturally play a part. Nothing is completely made up.
So I'm not going to try and prove the Illuminati exists. Most conspiracy theories are bogus for the simple fact that it is hard to prove something secret. They are all tainted with limited conclusions, misinterpreted information and flat out lies. This is why it's so easy to discredit the entire movement. It's us against them, and if one of them is a nut then surely the rest are too. It's like society in general. If you had taken a random guy in the street and asked him to make an argument for our current system it would be pretty easy to shoot him down. There are good cts and bad cts, most of them are bad, and such is the way with all things. The majority is always wrong when it comes to complex issues. The one thing though, that drives most of us is that something we see. The obviousness of the limited scope of society. That wanting to change what is corrupt.
So if you're interested in truth, if you in some way consider the possibility that society could lie to you, you have to go out and feel it for yourself. Read the Billingtons, Quigleys, Maxwells and Mullins. Check out all the secret organizations and elite families you'll find with a quick google. Only then will you see the blurry shape of what is true. You may never understand it, but it is your human ability to see it clear as glass. You have to step out of your reality. Do not look for something new to add to what already is. Imagine there is nothing and then try and see what it really is with as much information you can. As Jordan Maxwell says You gotta do your homework.
