Sure it's fun, but history suggests it won't happen. The only rumor like this to come true was 02 VMAs. Every year since we had the same rumor for basically the VMAs, AMA's and once even the Oscars I think. Probably the Billboard awards every year too.

This could have legs though being as its the day the album is out and would certainly be a very clever idea by GNR.

Tyler - 'Ok heres a band that we toured with back in the day, a band that wrote one of the classic rock n roll albums of all time Appetite for Destruction, we are great friends with these guys, Slash, Duff, Izzy and have been for years..... here they are!!! Theyre back!!! Its Guns N Fucking Roses....!!!!'
Perry - 'Hey! Who are those guys?' Izzy's nose cant have got that big since giving up cocaine'.
Tyler - 'Damn that is big, what a waste'
I think Aerosmith have too much history and friendship with the real GNR to essentialy give the finger to their old buddies that are no longer there. Any opinions?
