Yeah I agree with that.
Not to bang on but seriously, that new 'What'd I tell ya?' line at the end of SoD sticks out like a sore thumb. His voice is soo different. The rest of it is completely smooth and then that pops up and it's scratchy and strained and sounds like it was recorded on a tape player and spliced in the morning they sent the masters to be pressed. Oh dear.

well if that's your opinion that's great but it's axl's album and when axl is obsessing over making a modern sounding rock album i can understand his desire to use finck more often than you and i would. as silly as it sounds, these sloppy and simple guitar solos are relevant these days.

Such a true post. Art for me isn't something that needs to be compared to what's popular to see if it's good or not. I make my own opinions. I could care less if solos are less relevant these days, some of the solos on this album just aren't good.
