Socialism here we come. Under Barry, the 18 year old fry manager at McDonalds has the same quality of life as the 35 year old manager with a wife and 2 kids
Really?? A $500 tax credit is going to make the fry guy have a lavish lifestyle??

I hope you are correct PaSnow. I did not vote against Obama because of color and I would like to think in 2008 color would NOT be a real issue by most people. In fact a few months ago I was pro-Obama. Then he started revealing his plans, killed that.
At any rate all we can do is hope for the best. Scary that he will have full house and senate support however. I understand completely the desire for change just not the "hail-mary" attitude thrown blindly in the air. No need staying up for this one, the media has won.

They said Obama won 91% of the black vote in PA. Although, in the interest of full disclosure John Kerry won 88% of the black vote. So it isn't really that they voted for him because he is black. It probably has more to do with Republicans not having much of a platform that appeals to blacks and not ever giving them much reason to vote Republican.
plus, think about how many people vote against obama because he is black.
That is completely negated and exceeded by those who are voting for him cause he is black. Every black person and all the guilty whites who feel they oew blacks something.

500$ that they didn't earn. Tell me how it's right to take my hard earned money and give it to lazy pieces of shits. I've had to fucking dodge bullets twice over here for my paycheck and some fucker sweeping the floor at Abercrombie is gonna get my fucking money under obama.

I'm sure it has happened (sadly) but I can safely say to a much lesser degree based on the polls and the fact that if white people were voting color-based there wouldn't be an election.

The attitude of disenfranchised Republicans in this thread is absolutely sickening. Glad to know Flagg you have so much faith in our country, that 'soup lines' are expected when Obama takes office. Trust me, it wouldn't have been any different with McCain - if that's America's future is another depression.
Myself, this is coming from a man who was a registered Republican, voted Bush in 2004, voted Republican down the line in 2004, voted for Republican Charlie Crist (a McCain supporter) for governor, voted half-Republican on my entire ballot today.
I just happened to vote Obama for president.
To assume one votes for Barack Obama because the MEDIA TELLS THEM TO, is an astonishingly ignorant statement, considering the fact that the media didn't brainwash me to vote Kerry in 2004. I voted Bush, proudly. And i'd vote Bush again if he was running for a 3rd time.
Still doesn't mean I don't like Obama, or MSNBC convinced me to do it.

The only person that the media has brainwashed Randall is you. A $500 tax credit is not spreading the wealth. I'm flat broke, and $500 ain't shit.
