There is a horrible shortage of relevant and meaningful political music in a time when we need it more than ever. Max writes a new song every week that stays firmly in this realm. He's written songs about returning soldiers from Iraq and their mental well-being, the death penalty, Lou Dobbs of CNN, Dana Perino the White House Press Secretary, and others...

I really dig his stuff and if you get a chance you guys should check it out and add him.

Honestly I've never been big on political music. A lot of times it comes off as musicians thinking they know best because they're famous. Like when celebrities tell me who to vote for. Fuck you, you liberal idealists with no grip on reality!

Will try this at some point.

I'm not a huge fan of political music either, because it seems like CC said, artists do it to shove their beliefs down our throats. I don't need someone else telling me how to think.
