I got into a heated discussion the other day with my father and a couple other guys who "still aren't sold on Obama"... then DON'T VOTE FOR HIM.

Honest to God, there's nothing else Obama can say to you in the next few days, that will win you over then. They're so pissed to be voting for McCain, but refuse to vote for Obama either A) because he's a Democrat, or B) Because his name "skeers dem"

The McCain of 2000 would have destroyed this clown. Hell, anybody but McCain 08 would have destroyed him. I'm still wondering why the republicans nominated him. Yeah their choices sucked, but McCain is in no shape to run this country, so we're forced into an Obama era that will most likely turn into a nightmare.

Republicans need a massive redesign of the party.

You're going to have to give Obama some credit for this campaign. Yeah, it's closer than was predicted in January, but he's run an efficient if not spectacular campaign. Way better than Kerry or even Gore ran.

Like Bill Clinton, he benefited from a weak opposition, bad economy, and a president with low ratings.
