Government Foils Skinhead Plot to Assassinate Obama

Federal agents have disrupted a plot to assassinate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate dozens of black students in Tennessee, the ATF said Monday.
In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.
A source in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives told FOX News that the two skinheads, who were picked up in Crockett County, Tenn., were plotting to shoot 88 black students and decapitate 14 others described as non-whites. The source said officials believe the suspects were planning to attempt an assassination against Obama.
The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community.
But officials could not describe how advanced or credible the plot was, nor could they say if they had contacted the Obama campaign.
Jim Cavanaugh, special agent in charge of the Nashville field office for the ATF, said the suspects also sought to go on a national killing spree, with Obama as its final target.
"They said that would be their last, final act -- that they would attempt to kill Sen. Obama," Cavanaugh said. "They didn't believe they would be able to do it, but that they would get killed trying."
Obama spokesman Bill Burton said the campaign would have no comment on the alleged plot.
The men, Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman 18, of West Helena, Ark., are being held without bond. Agents seized a rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and three pistols from the men when they were arrested. Authorities alleged the two men were preparing to break into a gun shop to steal more.
Attorney Joe Byrd, who has been hired to represent Cowart, did not immediately return a call seeking comment Monday.
Cowart and Schlesselman are charged with possessing an unregistered firearm, conspiring to steal firearms from a federally licensed gun dealer, and threatening a candidate for president.

Believe me when I tell you this, Obama is going to be the most protected president ever, by ATF, FBI, CIA, and especially the Secret Service.
This country would be set back 50 years on race relations if a black president were killed, and they are going to make even more sure they jump in front of a bullet for this guy, for sake of the American dream.

I agree. He already had the same level of Secret Service protection as President Bush once he won the Iowa caucuses. If he wins the election, he's probably going to have double the SS protection that Bush currently has. The country can't afford an assassination right now. If people think things are bad now because of the economy, the first minority President getting assassinated would send this country into utter chaos.

Not really. African Americans tend to stay in their own neighborhoods when they riot. By no means do I want to see anything happen to Obama, but all the morons who would riot would be disperesed in a couple days and then come crying back for help to rebuild the homes they burnt down.

I'm guessing you don't know how bad the riots were when MLK was assasinated.

Good old Tennessee. I think the locals would let them get away with it too if they sing Rocky Top while committing the crimes.
And this I take offensive. Tenessee, at least around Nashville and Knoxville isn't that bad. In fact I've seen much more racisim here in good ol Florida.

I hope nothing happens to Obama.
But if riots were to happen, that's dispicable too. As far as i'm concerned, if someone tries to pull you out of your car, you need to shoot the son of a bitch in the face.
Learn from LA in '92. Those people know now how it would go down. The blacks that choose to riot in that city, again, will get a big fuckin' surprise this time. St. Pete too, after the riots in the late 90's.
