Its over. Only thing that would put McCain in the White House is a terror attack bigger than 9/11, WWIII, or some huge skeleton being exposed from Obama's closet.
The only question remaining in my opinion is if Palin is able to pick up the pieces and build towards her own run in 2012.

Yeah, I agree. McCain was hilarious today. "We've got them right where we want them!" Yeah, I'm sure you WANTED to be 10 points down in the national polls and losing virtually all of the battleground states as well as some Republican states just 3 weeks before the election!

It's certainly Obama's to lose, but I'm not going to go as far as to say it's over. Not yet. McCain isn't helping himself, that's for sure. But it's 3 weeks to the day, and as of now the economy is looking like it's beginning to pick up. However, that alone isn't going to change peoples minds ("Oh ok, the stock markets better, I'll vote for McCain now") People are pretty much decided by now. McCain needs a plan, specifics, and a little bit of luck with strong vote turnout, low turnout for Obama, and some incorrect polling in recent weeks. A bit of a long shot, but with 3 weeks to go I wouldn't say it's over, just about a 70 or 80% chance for Obama, and there's also a chance he could win it bigtime... so it's a strange situation right now.

McCain could hit a home run in the final debate, and he'd be lucky if he even makes Obama 'sweat' let alone winning it.
McCain needs dirt right now. He needs a smoking gun. He needs to leak something like "the whitey video" or Obama shaking hands with Saddam Hussein or something in the final weeks if he wants to pull this one out.
