Re: Show Us Your Horror Collection
Thought I would start a thread if people wanted to show their horror collections off. I know I like checking out peoples gear. Unfortunately I don't have any but I found some cool pics someone posted recently of theirs here:
http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?sho … 506&st=795
A damn fine collection - I wouldn't want to be fumbling around in that room in the dark at night....
Re: Show Us Your Horror Collection
I don't have a massive collection. Couple of Michael Myers action figures, one Jason Voorhees (based off of JGTH).
I've got a few masks. Four Michael Myers masks, custom non-major release stuff (high quality), one based of H1, H2, H6 & the original style for H2O. I've also got a few custom jobs non-major release (high quality) for Jason Voorhees. A mask based off of Part IV, Part VI, a Part VII set (includes a latex mask of Jason with a detachable hockey mask over it), and a Part VIII mask.
I've got a few T-shirts, one for Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III, Friday The 13th (in general), Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, House...
The rest lie in my video & soundtrack collection (i'm a franchise guy).

Re: Show Us Your Horror Collection
Ah, didn't even think of t shirts. Yeah I have quite a few horror shirts. Wear them quite often. Several Halloween shirts, two TCM shirts, a Saw shirt, Psycho shirt, and had a Child's Play shirt awhile back but have no idea what happened to it.

Re: Show Us Your Horror Collection
I forgot one thing - Howling II (soundtrack bootleg).
Several of those bootlegs are really just MP3's (some very rare) i've come across over the years, i've thrown onto CD. No boot art or anything.
And Aussie, i'll try to find you some pics. My H6 Myers mask is "The Six" from Silver Shampain Novelties, and my H2O mask is "H2O V.1" also from SSN. My H1 mask is "The St. Nick" from Cemetary Gate Productions, and my H2 mask is "The Warlock" also from CGP. All of my Jason Voorhees masks are from SSN.
Here some pics...
F13: (all of my masks have screen accurate 'battered' red triangles. I don't know why these pics are 'clean')
New Blood-Latex
New Blood-hockey
Final Chapter
Jason Lives
Manhattan (mine has more yellow, and of course the triangles. Once again, not sure why these are clean. Maybe they're pics pre-finished)
Warlock
Re: Show Us Your Horror Collection
Wow thanks for the pics Axlin08. The masks look awesome quality (although they should for the price I had a bit of a surf on those websites you mentioned).
How do you store/show them at home - are the hockey masks mounted like those pics above?
Re: Show Us Your Horror Collection
Sadly no, which is really a shame. I purchased the masks, and then a month later moved. I took them out of their boxes, and reall just placed them in my closet. It's unfortunate, but I don't really have the case that I want yet, nor can I afford it.
The New Blood mask set & Myers masks actually used to sit on this pumpkin-headed plastic candles, that I set a bag at the top of the head so to not warp it. I've now replaced the candles with 2-liter soda bottles that are clean & empty, lol.
The hockey masks just sit on a shelf.
I really need to just pack them away, and break them back out when I find the case I want.
Plus, it's not exactly a 'pussy magnet' for chicks when they come by and see Michael Myers masks, and bloody hockey masks around. Kind of creeps up the mood.
They certaintly ain't your poor man's Spencer's Gifts masks. They're artwork, most of which (if not all) were made directly off the movie molds, several of which were under the supervision of the film's original FX guys.
John Buechler supervised production on the H6 Myers mask (not pictured) and The New Blood masks. Greg Nicotero supervised the H2O mask (not pictured).
I believe the H2 mask was done in association with Dick Warlock (who played Michael Myers in H2 & an assassin in H3, and used to own the original screen used H2 mask for years until he sold it to a private collector).

Re: Show Us Your Horror Collection
Here's a few of my masks!
Michael Myers:
Escape Mask (from RZ's Halloween) -
NAG/AHG (my favorite H1 mask) -
Blood Tears (H2 mask to look like after Michael shot in the eyes) -
Pennywise]( Stephen King's "IT")
Jason Voorhees PT.4 (with underhood, glass eyes, shirt and tee)
Freddy Krueger (Butterfingers, one of first made special edition with glass eyes, fedora and sweater)
without fedora:
with fedora:
Freddy's glove: (real blades, best one made called the "Numero Uno")
I'll upload the rest when I have time. I also have all 25 rare versions of the Halloween movies, all the rare Friday the 13th versions, and some rare Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Several other things.
