Re: 2008 NFL season
Wasn't home until late afternoon so I missed most of the games. Got to watch the end of that Dallas-Arizona game and of course the highlights.
Season continues to be topsy turvy. There are no clear cut dominating teams yet. Teams are going from hot to cold week to week. Bears and Cardinals a perfect example of this.

Yeah, I'll have to check the standings, but to me Atlanta seems like the surprise good team of the year. Buff & Tenn are doing better than expected, but probably weren't expected to be awful like Atl was.
Minn & Cleveland would be my disappointments so far.

Gotta say that Atlanta is definatly a good story. I am glad to see them get over the whole Vick era. Coach has done a good job.

Wow, the Giants were just dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball. I dont think Anderson was touched once, and Eli was under pressure all night. They were flat as a pancake. Hopefully this is one they will learn from and regroup. I believe they will.

Dallas' Adam Jones suspended again

Buzz Up PrintST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP)'”NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended Adam 'Pacman' Jones indefinitely for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
Jones was involved in an alcohol-related scuffle with one of his bodyguards at a private party in Dallas on Oct. 7.
The league said the Dallas Cowboys cornerback will miss the next four games, and Goodell will determine the final length of the suspension after the Cowboys' game in Washington on Nov. 16.
In a letter Tuesday to Jones, Goodell called the latest incident the continuation of 'a disturbing pattern of behavior and clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL.'
The NFL's investigation comes six weeks after Goodell reinstated Jones from a 17-month suspension after several run-ins with the law while with the Tennessee Titans.

Dallas traded for WR Roy Williams. Not sure what the compensation is yet.
