Re: Obama and the terrorist
So in other words, you're voting against your own principles because McCain is a "jackass" regarding war? McCain advocates war with Iran. So does Obama. Obama wants to go into Pakistan. Obama is for NATO expansion, which is extremely dangerous.
You're voting on the wrong issue because there will be more war regardless of who wins.

Well let's just say I "hope" you're wrong on that.
Re: Obama and the terrorist
I disagree he's got the best view on "energy". On "Oil" porobably but I don't think "energy". I truly believe solar, wind, etc could be the dot com boom of the next 10 years. And with that, I think it's safe to say companies in that industry will fare much better under Obama than McCain.
As I said, Oil = McCain. Energy probably goes to Obama.

Obama believes in ethanol. Don't even get me started on what a clusterfuck ethanol is as an alternative. The government currently heavily subsidizes it. It's pathetic.
1. Less efficient than gasoline.
2. Corrosive during transportation.
3. Here's the big one: bad on food prices and consequently the entire economy.
Re: Obama and the terrorist
Not sure how it's "less effective" I think it gets the same mpg & would cost about the same. I agree it alters food prices, as alot of food is made with corn syrup & corn byproducts, however you're discounting the fact that basically 100% of it's money stays in the USA, as opposed to oil whihc is mostly imported. So it's definitely worth pursuing. Again, I agree it's got some problems, but worth looking into.

Drill Here, Drill Now!
And i'm referring to gay marriage!
Nice one.
What is your avvy if you don't mind me asking?
Re: Obama and the terrorist
Not for nothing, but going back to the OP, if you read the article, there really is little connection between Obama & Ayres. They met a couple times, and sat on a few boards & initiatives together. That happens when your both doing similar political work within the same city.
(Tejas, I think his av is the TB Devil Rays logo... unless he had a different one before that)

It went a bit further than meeting a couple times. No one is saying these two hung out together building bombs. The fact that it constantly has to be swept under the rug is a bit troubling. Just like that Rezko shit.
