The Couric interview just keeps getting worse. She asks her & Biden seperately what Supreme Court decision they disagree with aside from Roe v Wade, Biden gives his answer, Palin says "Well, hmmmm, in the history of the country, I'm sure many of them. We'll never have a court where we all can agree with every court decision. But hmmm, Roe v Wade for example. I disagree with some of the principals of it..."

Tomorrow is the part where she asks what is the worst thing Dick Cheney ever did, Palin is reported to have answered "When he shot somebody while hunting"  Tomorrow nights gonna be awesome!!

Wow, CBS actually did her a favor. They cut off the "You know as a mayor, as a governor, as a VP if I were so privileged we would be in a position of changing those things but in supporting the law of the land as it reads today...." on the TV broadcast.

That statement doesn't make any sense!! I swear she just says words to fill in the time.

Anyone who's taken a history course could name a Supreme Court decision that they would disagree with. I mean she could've at least thrown out Plessy v. Ferguson, even though it was overturned later it's still a Court decision and a clearly disgusting one.

^^ That's my beef with it. Granted I wouldn't know many, but I sit in a cubicle, I'm not trying to be the next VP of America!! Also aside from my lack of interest in History class in high school I had little following of such issues. I went on to study different subjects in college.

I expect national politicians to be better & more knowledgable on issues than I am. Not a typical person who basically could be a supervisor at my work.

No offense to Sarah Palin, but it's becoming more and more obvious the Republican party, in a sexist move, thought that just "getting a chick on the ticket" that the dumb Americans would vote, and allow the Republicans to steal Hilary Clinton's thunder.

Palin seems like an alright woman, even though i'm not totally in line with her politics, but she has been used and abused by her own party in this election. sad

She's a total fucking idiot.  Definition of tits hooked to a life support machine.  People like Palin are the reason the Republican party is failing.  Rather than well thought out and reasoned arguments, Palin is using emotional appeal, the trump card the liberals (and Bush to a much lesser extent) use to push through their agenda.

I respect McCain, but I got nothing for Palin.  She is really a total dipshit who lives in her own little world.  In the unlikely event McCain wins this election, Palin needs to be asked not to run as VP again in 2012.  She can go back to Alaska and pop out more retards (cheapshot I know, but I say if you're good at something, keep doing it). smile

I figured you would have liked her. Did you get addicted to the neocons?:haha: I thought she was a breath of fresh air. I do agree that she's in her own world and clearly wasn't ready for this. I don't think she should be blamed though. She caved to pressure in her own party and quite possibly destroyed what could have been a bright future in politics.

By the way, McCain would have already lost the election had Palin not been added to the ticket. If McCain does win, she played a role in that victory.

Re: Palin flunks mock debates

I'm more interested in how a person gets to a conclusion or policy agenda then the overall policy itself.  Of course tehre are certain parameters I want people to work within, such as the constitution and the market.  Palin may have the right conclusion on somethings, but how she gets there is completely ass backwards or worse, she can't explain why she holds that view.

That was my favorite thing to do in college.  Go through the Socratic method with hardcore leftist and try to get them to explain why they advocated something.  I certainly did the same thing with the Republicans, but called them many more names when they said some bible thumper bullshit or in the even rarer occasion, racist garbage.

Palin could have been a real breath of fresh air.  I over esitmated her ability to deliver the most basic arguments supporting the Republican agenda.  Some of the questions she bombs on are shit I could have answered in high school.  If I were gonna try to play partisan games, I'd say she is just camera shy.  But she had like 70 million people watching her at the GOP convention and she did fine.  That just tells me she definitely can't think on her feet and maybe she can't think at all.

That's the one thing I can't knock Obama on.  I may not like his policies, but no one can argue honestly that he and Biden aren't extremely intelligent individuals.

Palin is probably a pretty straight forward, and yes intelligent woman.... on HER level. She's a fucking mayor for Christ's sake. In Alaska!!! The only way she got elected governor is because there's like 19 people that live in the entire state.

Sarah Palin reminds me of the sweet, confidant, tough as nails, MILF, of the small town I grew up in. That type. The lady that's friendly, a good mother, tries to get a little politics on in the local city government as a Mayor or Commish, goes to Church every Sunday, does the local canned food drive, and makes a mean fried chicken dinner for supper when you date her daughter.

That type.

But she ain't VP material. In alot of ways I think it'll be beneficial for Sarah Palin to lose. Get back to Alaska, get back to where everyone knows your name, get back to the basics, before Washington corrupts you and every good thing (relatively speaking of course) that you do in life, is stepped on, spit on, and turned around, 'til your regular nights are spent at the White House holding a loaded .38 special, nursing a bottle of Johnnie Walker, and looking at a picture of the husband who left you because YOU changed.

Sarah get out while you still have your SOUL!
