She reduced "pork" spending by over 60%. I've posted these "facts" here in several threads. Instead of listening to liberal bias, go actually look at her record. Go look at Obama's record. Go look at McCain's record. Go look at Biden's record. Guess which two constantly want increases in earmarks? Obama and Biden. Don't believe me? Go to the Senate's own website and look at their record. Who doesn't ask for earmarks? McCain. Who reduces them? Palin.

Those are irrefutable facts.

She fired some guy for using a taser on a kid, drinking while on the job, and threatening to kill her father? How dare she do something so terrible!!

She wants the U.S. to stop using so much foreign oil and to drill here instead? Liberals wont allow that. Gotta make sure we continuously stay in debt to foreign countries.

That is where liberals should be looking. The constant smears didn't work, and they wont work by repetition.

Someone can tell me a thousand times that she loves "pork spending". Still doesn't change the fact she has reduced them dramatically while in office.

Complaints about smears coming from the guy who has constantly smeared Obama's tax record, just like the official attacks from the McCain campaign itself. Sorry if I don't buy your whining on this man. You're just as guilty as those evil liberals that are smearing Palin. FactCheck.org continues to call out McCain and his supporters (including YOU) and yet you people CONTINUE to lie about Obama's tax policy on a daily basis. I guess if you repeat a lie often enough, it will become the truth.

I don't smear. I provide links to the records of these people. If you consider facts backed up by Senate records a smear, then that's your choice.

That's over simplifying things. She is the Governor of a small insignificant state which have seen positive side effects from oil prices and the general economic "boost"/balloon. Yeah she's got some decent stats, and besides sex, age and appearance I'd say that's why they picked her in the first place.

In the end it doesn't mean anything. She has had to make few if any hard decisions, and her so called experience is questionable in the way she carries herself. Lipstick and cuecards? Weak answers, limited knowledge. Bottom line she doesn't seem to be a person with a whole lot going for her. The way the campaign's been acting lately doesn't go along way in disputing that they share the same sentiment. They're hiding her because she's proven to be a disaster.

And this is the person that's going to be a heart attack from the Oval Office? It would be a total cake walk for the lobbyists and string pullers.

One thing is really all she did was be Governor of a state who gets something like 80% of their revenue from Oil. And in the 18 months since she took office, the price of Oil tripled. Hence a surplus for the state, and the ability to give each resident a $1200 tax rebate. Which is why it's easy to have an 80% approval rating, even though it's now down in the 60's. Anyway, let's see how she does if Oil's down to $60/barrel.

You should go dig through his flimsy record before labeling anything I say a smear. I'm not one of these republican nuts who just smears the guy for the sake of smearing. I actually look through his record to reach my conclusions.

Oh, here's a good one: He rejected giving earmarks to the marines who obviously need any funding they can get. What a leader! He's just in love with as many earmarks as he can lay his hands on.

The ONLY time he has ever been against earmarks is when the entire Senate was against it as well.
