Re: Velvet Revolver Still Mulling New Frontman
It's time to call Izzy and do a good rock 'n' roll album.

Hah, excellent news:
http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2008/09/ … ongoing%27Seems like a good deal to me. More Hard Rock, less Grunge, back to his roots (or "comfort zone", for all you nay-sayers out there). Seems to be the popular thing to do these days anyway (just ask Lars & Mr. Hetfield).
Heh. I think we all know who the most badass hard rock singer there is out there. It's right under their noses. Time to put the egos aside before it's too late.

Very true. They can make another so-so record, they can all do side projects or solo albums, or they can truly go back to their roots and make a really kickass rock record.
I think the best choice is obvious.

There's two choices in my mind. The first one is the obvious one and it's the best one because it's been proven to go very well with Slash and Duff's sound. The second choice would be Cornell, who is just a fucking amazing singer.
Re: Velvet Revolver Still Mulling New Frontman
If, under whatever strange circumstances, a third album does materialize, I think the band should release it under the Revolver moniker and drop the Velvet altogether. Just a random thought. The Velvet part of their band got his ass fired, anyway.

I agree Cornell's best bet is a Soundgarden reunion. That said, I also think his 007 theme trumped the entire Audioslave catalogue.
That's a pretty bold statement. I loved the Bond song, but he had some pretty damn good ones on that first Audioslave album, especially "Like A Stone" and "I Am The Highway."

They should get the singer of The Parlor Mob. And one of the guitarists, too!!
