Its not the same poll. I'm not disputing the accuracy or validity of the poll. Its a good sign for Obama(in this poll). I'm just clarifying that its not the same poll used in the original post in this thread.

For the record, it was also for "Independent Voters" not just an overall national poll. The poll was tied as I stated.

You don't have to create a new thread. I wasn't insinuating that. In your post regarding the Newsweek poll, it sounded like the 15% jump in McCain's numbers had completely vanished. It hasn't(yet) in the Gallup poll.

If the Newsweek trend carries over into Gallup's daily tracker, then yes McCain is in a bit of trouble.
