The man was just ridiculously brilliant.  It might be the celebrity death that bummed me out the most.

Now I have to decide whether to download the album from Itunes tonight, or buy it with the Metallica album on Friday.

I've been pretty excited about this since I heard about it a few months back. Will probably get it this weekend. Mitch was the greatest. My favorite comedian and a truly brilliant guy.

I feel dumb that I never heard about it til today. I'll be buying it tomorrow.

Yeah, what I don't get is that I somehow managed to hear about the tribute shows going on today, I saw none of them were near me and dismissed it. I somehow missed that a new album was coming out.

I remember hearing a stream of a radio show Stanhope and Mitch's wife (Lynn Shawcroft) did on his website a couple years ago.  They were talking about trying to put together another album or possibly even an HBO special from things that were left, but that was long enough ago I assumed nothing ever came of it.
