Re: ALICE IN CHAINS HEADING BACK TO THE STUDIO
I thought they had been recording already. Oh well. I doubt this new stuff will come close to the old AIC, and I'm sure I'll miss Layne, but I gave the new Blind Melon a chance and the new Gunr N' Roses a chance (and the new new Guns N' Roses), so I'll listen to them before writing them off completely.
Jerry may have been the musical leader of AIC, but Layne was the heart and soul.

I'm really looking forward to this just to hear some kickass guitar playing from Jerry again, but it ain't Alice In Chains without Layne.

Without Layne it won't be AIC, period.
I will listent o this though with an open mind. Most likely just pretend it's a new band.

Re: ALICE IN CHAINS HEADING BACK TO THE STUDIO
Yea, if I got the album I'd probably load the artist name into iTunes as 'Alice In Chains 2' or something like. Plan to do the same with GNR, just to keep the different eras seperate.

How about "AIC-L"?
I really think they should use a different name. It's going to turn off a lot of people.
