Obama has pictures wearing muslim clothing. A few bloggers mentioning that isn't shocking. Palin is being attacked everywhere for no reason at all. Funny that people are jumping on her VP gaffe while their own candidate doesn't know how many states we have.

Not sure I would call it "faith" as there are other factors(obviously) that will play a role in her success or defeat(at least in this election). However, she is different than what both sides have offered for years, and that is a breath of fresh air.

James, surely you know the story behind him wearing those clothes right? You wanna talk about attacking for no reason, that was the lowest of the low of this campaign. PERIOD. Since when does religion matter at all? Being a Muslim shouldn't disqualify anyone in this country from being President. But the attacks on Obama's name and the fact that he has worn Muslim garb during official international visits to other countries while representing the United States as a Senator makes it pretty clear that religion IS important for a lot of people in this country. Why is that? The Founding Fathers were mostly Deists or atheists. They would be ashamed at the notion that someone is automatically unelectable because of their religion such as with Mitt Romney (or even insinuations about their religion, such as in Obama's case). It shouldn't even be an issue at all.

I never said I condoned the action. Just said how you can see why those people connected assorted dots. I don't think the muslim thing deserves to be an issue either. Too many other fish to fry in this country.

I don't like the liberal double standard being applied either. Its not ok to go after Obama on various issues, yet its ok to use smear tactics against the opposing side's VP. It needs to be all or nothing.

^^ Smear tactics?? When have you EVER heard Palin's middle name used? When?? I'll bet that jackass who introduced McCain a few months back doesn't even know it. Nor do probably half the people on Fox News... Yet we all know Barack's middle name don't we.

Obama is running for president. Not surprisingly, the middle names of presidents and presidential candidates get mentioned. Should Obama be excluded from that because his middle name is Hussein?

Damn, the liberals sure are insecure about the name the golden boy's mama gave him.

Look, my point is this is America. And we'll be damned if someone comes down here, talking about how their shit don't stink. Our politicians are dirty, and so is she. Plain and simple. So she trots down here, talking about how she cleaned house, cancelled projects left & right, and is a "Renegade", when in fact, she was one of them

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o46YdvT3lwQ

basiically being dishonest & telling lies as she also worked on a fundraising group to raise money for Ted Stevens. The only renegade move she made was firing the man who wouldn't fire her ex-brother in law. Legal yes, but a question of ethical decisions.

Also, as someone previously noted, this woman wants to DO AWAY with sex-ed and teaching safe sex in schools??!! If she gets 2 more supreme justices on board it's possible the neo-cons can get this done.

I question her accepting the VP role, while her daughters pregnancy would come into the national spectacle & media (not Obama but the media, the same people who covered Jaime Spears so it isn't liberal media bias, it's news to them, which equals advertising & $$). She could have turned it down to keep her daughters situation out of the limelight but chose not to.  It does make me wonder when & how she was planning on telling the public, the Republicans sure are bringing up the anti-abortion issue quite a bit with it. Kindof a reverse smear if you will, politicizing the daughter & baby.

Anyway, you can gaurantee if McCain loses, you will NEVER see this woman in the lower 48 again. Losing VP's never go on to anything. I'll try & find a list somewhere.

I see the latest "change" memo has been released. Not surprised at all that its more Palin smears.

Care to provide a link where she says she's going to abolish sex ed? You cant provide a link because one doesn't exist. Palin SUPPORTS abstinence only courses. Has never said anything about abolishing sex ed.

Also, the strategy of digging deep into the republican party in her state isn't going to work either. She doesn't play the partisan games(now thats a "change"). She is just as willing to go against them as she is the dems. Looking for disgruntled party officials comments on Palin would be like Mondale seeking out all those beurocrats Reagan fired. Even Mondale wasn't crazy enough to use such a tactic, but the Obama brigade is desperate.

She isn't a neo-con, but nice try at attempting to link her to them.

What are all these lies that she tells?

The dems need new ammo because the arsenal you got isn't going to cut the mustard.

It does make me wonder when & how she was planning on telling the public

She already told the public. She did it in an honorable way while her and her daughter were being smeared by liberals. What more do you want, her giving her daughter a pregnancy test on Larry King?

you can gaurantee if McCain loses, you will NEVER see this woman in the lower 48 again.

I guarantee that we do see her again. She's the future of the party, and even if she didn't want to run again, the party would force her to because she causes liberals to shake in their boots.
