Re: Whats the latest Video Game you've completed
I just got my xbox a few months ago, so I've been catching up on the good games of last year. Most recently completed Bioshock - awesome game. Now I'm doing a second run-through on hard mode because I've turn into an achievement whore.
Really looking forward to playing that once it comes out on PS3

I basically ruled the planet. No country would fuck with me, although surprisingly no one wanted to be a vassal state. I started to systematically take out country after country, although I won the diplomatic victory before I could gain world domination.
Ha, you've convinced me to play it again...it just takes up so much time though!
I always stop when I achieve a certain victory. You can continue of course, but when the screen flashes constantly that you achieved a specific victory, I take it as a sign to move on.
You're right about that, carrying on after you are victorious is just terrible, the game becomes a bit of a chore.

I highly recommend it. I actually picked it up a few months ago but got wrapped up with gt4 and other stuff. I'm pissed at myself for not playing it sooner.
Hard mode is tuning out to be a bitch though

I completed Metal Gear Solid 4 the other day, might replay it on a harder level tonight (I'll skip the cut scenes though )

Yeah its time consuming and very tedious, especially the first stage of the game when you start out in the stone age. When I play now, I set it to modern era so I don't have to go through so much crap. I love the game but don't play it as much as I would like because I'm an internet junkie.
Words of advice: NEVER give open borders to any country. I don't care if you have to fight a war because they want open borders for a corridor to one of their cities or a specific region. Fight the war. Also in the middle of a war, do not give open borders to an ally even if they are helping you in the war. They will walk in and take areas of land you just spent blood and treasure on acquiring.
When you have an economy built up and have money to burn, pay other countries to fight each other. It makes them weak.
