Well pesonally I like it alot. He's a man of the people, relates to the working class, is likable, and experienced. His biggest potential downfall is he probably has alot of ties to the credit card industry & lobbyists being that he is in Delaware. Other than that I have no problem with him.

Also a bit of checkmate to McCain. Lieberman couldn't hang with him in a debate. A Romney/McCain ticket brings a pair of guys worth $450 million trying to relate to the working class America in these tough economic times. Ridge won't bring PA since Biden was born in Scranton & brings alot of the Southeastern PA vote (He's called Philly a suburb of his state) . That woman from Alaska is looking like a better choice already.

McCain really needs to think hard on who he picks. His choice will make or break this election.

Biden is ok but I'm not fond of the choice. I know he was on my list of choices for Obama, but I think someone else should have been chosen.

Joe Biden is about the furthest thing from an "Elitist". Plus he'll say whatevers on his mind, for better or worse. But I think people like that kind of guy. Quick witted.

Biden has been a Senator since he was 29.  He is now 65.  He has no clue what the common man has gone through, and when you account the first 22-23 years of his life while he was in college, you can safely say that Biden only have about 5 years of "real world" experience.

All of them. This whole "common man", John Edwards "my dad was just a farmer or mill worker or whatever the fuck" lame ass shit is all fucking bullshit. They need to stop pussyfootin' around the issue, and stop trying to tell me, the American people, and the world how they understand the working man. None of them do. It's all playing to the working class, because they are GULLIABLE.

McCain needs to really think hard about his choice. But Romney - AIN'T IT. He's too conservative to ever give McCain a chance at this year's election. And if you watched the Republican debates during the primaries McCain, Huckabee and even Ron freakin' Paul ran roughshot right over Romney. Joe Biden would DESTROY Mitt Romney in a debate. Stone Cold Stunner. No chance.

McCain vs. Obama = it'll be interesting

Biden vs. whoever = McCain better bring out a "big gun"

I'm still pulling for Palin to be VP. She isn't being floated anymore as a possibility, so she might have declined the spot.

Dude, fuck all you guys. Gas was a buck 47 when Bush took office. It went up to over $4. That WOULDN'T have happened if a Texan didn't take office. And we won't goto war with another country to get credit cards decent contracts overseas like with did with Dick Cheney & Haliburton, so open your fucking eyes assholes. It's about common sense & rationale. Also, Delaware is tax free shopping. ie something that's $100 cost $100, not $107, so Delaware does something right. And Biden is probablyh the ONLY Senator who's net worth is less than 1 mil.

Is McCain a bad person NO. But Geroge Bush royally ruined the Republican Party as Randall Flagg knew it, and it's over. 2006 Democratic Senate, 2008 Democratic PWhite House. Bank It. Time for GoP to rethink their agenda because they're fucked!!

2006 dems?? HAHAHAHAHAHA!! All they are is lap dogs of Bush. They're basically republicans in dems clothing. Banking on them for anything is not only a mistake but a joke as well.

The only agenda the GOP need is to show Obama cant do anything and has no experience to fall back on, and Obama does that mission by himself.

McCain is gonna send Barack and Michelle back to Illinois sucking on their crack pipes. Bank it.

Tone down the "fuck you's" when discussing shit here.

Matthews on Hardball reported that Biden's net worth is $100,000-150,000. That's pretty impressive on the non-elitist front for a senator. 16
