Couldn't seem to find another thread about these guys, so I thought I'd start one up. Mainly because of the fact that I absolutely love their latest album Minutes to Midnight which I only recently discovered.

I know I'm a bit late getting into it, but I'd heard most of the singles on the radio which I liked, so I thought I'd buy the album, and I'm very impressed. Not one weak track on there at all, and I'm not really much of a fan of rap-rock either. But Minutes To Midnight It hasn't left my car cd player for the last few weeks.

I'm really wishing I went to see them when they toured Australia last year, Chris Cornell opened for them which would've been great to see too.

Re: Linkin Park

I like Meteora, and have always had Hybrid Theory on my music wishlist back-burner but Minutes to Midnight did nothing for me. I gave it two listens, having borrowed it from the library, and promptly gave it back without keeping any tracks. It sounded weak to me. I'll stick with Meteora. Don't Stay and Hit The Floor rock. MTM took out all the hard egde to LP.

LP is also responsible for the worst live NIN cover from another major band ever.

I liked their early stuff like CC.

MTM- hate it.  I just can't see how people love this album.

Linkin Park are one of those guilty pleasures. I hate to admit I like them, but i'd never go out in public with their music cranked or a t-shirt on, or even buy an album in public for that matter.
