Four killed in German ice cream parlor

BERLIN, Germany (AP) -- German police say four people have been shot dead in the town of Ruesselsheim.

Police spokesman Ferdinand Derigs says the four victims were shot in an ice cream parlor near the town's train station.

He says the shooter escaped and police are in pursuit.

Derigs said Tuesday evening: "We have mobilized a massive manhunt in the area."

The shooter's motive is unknown and no further information about the victims is available.

Ruesselsheim is about 28 kilometers (17 miles) southwest of Frankfurt.
