Re: Former Sugarland Member Hall Sues For $1.5M
I just knew the fat girl was gonna sue eventually.
Hahahaha!
To her credit though, she did write two of the band's early hit singles. She co-wrote "Baby Girl", and is the sole credited writer for "Just Might Make Me Believe" - now, granted, she left shortly after the first CD was released, and they're just getting bigger and bigger every single day. Jennifer and Kristian are both talented writers in their own right, so this definitely sounds like a case of sour grapes to me.

Hall says in the lawsuit that she has been excluded from the group's profits since she left.
Uhh - isn't that what USUALLY happens?
Re: Former Sugarland Member Hall Sues For $1.5M
Fat chicks always sue...that's what they do. I got a kick out of the song where they put the skinny black chick in the video to sing the fat chicks parts. I forget the name of it, but it was one of those one hit wonder pop-rap songs. Good Vibration maybe?
The formula is simple: use the fat person until you make it big, then get rid of said fat person for someone prettier regardless of what they bring to the table. Welcome to pop music 101.

I wouldn't be shocked. All of the Dixie Chicks very 'overrated' success can be contributed to Natalie Maines, and it's been known for YEARS that the other two were put 'around' her to try and pretty up the image of the band.
This is an age old move by producers. The same ones convinced that married men in a band, need to act like they are single because that'll get women listeners.
