Nineteen-year-old Karen Range was stabbed to death in 1982 by a man who posed as a door-to-door salesman.
DNA evidence cleared her killer of the rape charge. Now investigators believe her rapist is the morgue attendant.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters says 55-year-old Kenneth Douglas was arrested Friday on a charge of violating probation for a drug offense conviction.
He was ordered to give a DNA sample after the March conviction. Deters says Douglas' DNA ties him to the rape of Karen Range.
Douglas was indicted Monday with gross abuse of a corpse.
Investigators expect Douglas to be charged with violating other corpses based on interviews with the suspect.
Range's killer, David Steffen, always maintained his innocence on the rape charge. He remains on death row.
Douglas remained in Hamilton County jail pending Tuesday's court appearance.
If convicted he faces up to 18 months in prison.

Good question.
I can't believe this all went down and everybody watched. yeah I knowthey were scared but fuck the people on the bus for watching this happen and then letting the guy chill out afterwards.
