I'm a big Will Ferrell fan, absolutely love "Anchorman". Probably my favorite comedy of all time. But his movies since then haven't come close to that level. They've gotten progressively worse in my opinion. But this one looks like it has potential. Back to the basics and away from the sports themed movies. He and John C. Reilly work well together.

Will Ferrel gets old. His comedy is the same and hasn't really done anything new in quite some time.
The funniest thing he's done in a long time is The Landlord. And it was the little girl that was the funniest part of that.

I think this movie is squeezing the last out of the Will Ferrell man who just can't grow up comedy well. It looks good, more so than Semi-Pro or Talladega did, but it's such a tired formula.

Will Ferrell is INSANELY over-rated. For the life of me, I don't understand why he gets the roles that he does. I liked him on SNL, but as a solo movie star? Sorry, not buying it. He's worthless if he doesn't have a strong supporting cast around him.
Anchorman and Elf were alright, but everything else he's done has sucked donkey dick.

I'd have to disagree about Elf. I thought that movie was horrible. One of Will's worst roles.
I also thought Talledega Nights was a pretty funny movie.
