That was Jason Goes to Hell(9).
I'm not too hot on his description of Friday, but I'll give it a chance. Don't want to jump to any conclusions. I do like how he knew he had to include elements of II to get the hardcores onboard.

As far as Transformers, I don't give a shit.
I'm the opposite, I'm not a horror movie guy at all, but Michael Bay was the perfect choice for something like Transformers that's all about effects and explosions anyway.
People were bitching before and after the 1st one, but I got exactly what I was expecting when I went in.

Holy shit, Bay is doing Friday the 13th? I had no idea, or i had completley forgot.
Blew any curiosity for me out the window. We don't need to see Jason blow us several times, get chased by helicopters, and turn out to be a robot that can blow other things up.
