Re: Time Magazine considers the leaks Chinese Democracy
I've never been a slave to reviewers. I look at it as that is their personal opinion, just so happens to be in print for the world to see and TM is a very, very reputable mag, with that said, even tho I am happy that for the most part the songs got decent reviews, I still take anything a reviewer has to say with a grain of salt.

to be fair, maddy has its limits, but, by no way is it boring, to give rhiad a better rating IMO is rediculous!
that really is.
rhiad is no song, it´s the crappiest shit i ever heard.
I have to agree about Rhyiad, I have never liked that song, I feel that the ahhh ahhh's for ME, make that song unbearable to listen to. The music is much better then the way it's sang.

I find Madagascar boring. Just cant get into it and I've had 6 years to try and appreciate it. Oh maybe thats why.
I also couldnt see the fuss about Breakdown and everyone loves that. Maybe my ears are knackered.

are we sure these are demos?
if the source was from Universal surely that would indicate completion?

Not really.
They're probably (more or less) the finished versions from 2002.

Yeah i can't beleive the trashing of Maddy...its a beautiful song! I think the solo that many fans love is a bit bland and could have been more inspirational (to go with the lyrics) but its so much better than this article gives it credit for!
The other insane thing, now that RS and Time are talking about these songs, how long can GNR not give a statement, and places like HTGTH ignore it? It's madness.
