Ive no idea how it works but I'll have a crack at it.
at htgth we'd each pick the best 10 albums of a decade, then neemo counted our picks and made a top 10.
then, we start voting off 1 or 2 of those that made the top 10 for each round.
and the first 2 from each decade would get into a last battle and the remaining album would be... 
"the sole survivor" 
the movies one lasted for months on end because we split them into genres and decades

Yeah I'm up for it although I'm guessing there'll be a lot of albums I've never heard on the list we come up with.

how far do we wanna go back this time?
If you're not breaking it out by decade you might as well go of all time. I don't think many "albums" were out before mid-60's. I think the White album was one of the first, before then (Elvis, Sinatra) I think it was mostly singles. And I think only a few from the 60's & 70's will make the list.

I'm interested, but not really familiar with the 50s stuff and the older.

I probably can't really contribute until the 80s, the 90s for sure. 00s too if we did that. 60s and 70s is not my forte at all.
