Great. Another football fan in the house.
This site has some great football discussion during the season. During the NFL season, the NFL thread is my favorite section of the forum.
Might want to stick around even if you dislike the other sections. We've got some pretty knowledgeable people here, and you're obviously on that list.
Season tickets? Damn. Cant even imagine that. I might go to a 49ers or Raiders game this year.

Didn't we also have a bet the games straight up contest? each week pick the winners/losers? I like that, even though I did pretty bad. I didn't adapt well, I kept think N.O was good & Cleveland was bad. It was about week 10 I changed my gameplan 
That's the good thing about football, the Rams or ATL could be good this year, & Giants or NE could be bad.
Anyway, NFL thread is my fav thread in the fall also, it's the perfect mix of fans, without being over the top, trying to be too hardcore know-it-all fans.

I thought thats what they were talking about? I dont ever remember seeing an actual fantasy football thread.

Fantasy football is pretty tough and a lot of luck is involved. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the NFL but I've finished near the bottom of many leagues and have only won one title in my 7 years of participation. If you get burned with a few early draft picks that just don't pan out you're fighting from behind all season. I did pretty well in my leagues last year during the regular season. Not so much in the playoffs though, I was bounced out early. It's a good time though.
