Re: Whats the latest Video Game you've completed
San Andreas took well over a hundred hours to complete, possibly two hundred. Then again, I don't consider just the story mode completing the game.
For the last year I've been playing nothing but Rome: Total War. Probably completed it close to 50 times.
Re: Whats the latest Video Game you've completed
in order:
Resident Evil 4 (on Gamecube - first game I've completed since the original Unreal)
Resistance: Fall Of Men (ps3)
Portal (the full 4 hours worth of gameplay ) (ps3)
Army Of Two (ps3)
currently working my way through the original Half-Life² experience on ps3 (for the first time).
Games that I'm playing on-and-off, but can't seem te get motivated enough to finish:
Max Payne (the original, on PC)
Metroid Prime: Corruption (on Wii)
Resident Evil: The umbrella Chronicles (on Wii)
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (on GameCube)
I do plan on finishing at least Max Payne and Eternal Darkness in the not so far away future.
Re: Whats the latest Video Game you've completed
I tried Civ 4 for a while, it was fun but lost its charm because I drifted away from strategy games (apart from the Total War series).
The last game I finished was Mass Effect, it was brilliant, like being in a movie. Some flaws, but the story made up for it.
Re: Whats the latest Video Game you've completed
I just got my xbox a few months ago, so I've been catching up on the good games of last year. Most recently completed Bioshock - awesome game. Now I'm doing a second run-through on hard mode because I've turn into an achievement whore.

I don't play many strategy games either, but that game is not only mindblowing, but addicting. Gonna buy the expansion pack just released. It takes you into the future and doesn't stop at the space race.
Best scenario I played was months ago. I was Roosevelt and of course the US was my country. I became this massive superpower. Each city had tons of military, and my navy was probably worthy of some record. Had over 30 aircraft carriers, and of course fleets to go with it.
I basically ruled the planet. No country would fuck with me, although surprisingly no one wanted to be a vassal state. I started to systematically take out country after country, although I won the diplomatic victory before I could gain world domination. I always stop when I achieve a certain victory. You can continue of course, but when the screen flashes constantly that you achieved a specific victory, I take it as a sign to move on.
