That was the biggest "COPE" in my opinion. This idea that the economy is actually "really good right now!!!!" Yeah I'm paying 2x for food EVERY DAY... groceries expensive as fuck. I don't care if inflation is "slowing"

Not saying anyone here said the economy was good, but I did hear it alot from pundits.

I haven't voted for the orange guy in any previous election cycle. How fucked up does the messaging have to be for a guy like me to cast a ballot for the orange guy? I guess pretty bad because today i held my nose to vote for someone who I despise as a person, but have confidence in handlers to make life affordable for my family.  I'm not MAGA, but today I had to make a choice where the ends justify the means. Gross.

I’ll disagree a little. Parts of it were improving but not to the point where the average American (voting ones anyway) could see it.

And they never could answer the inflation q. Fuck my brother would have voted for Trump on gas prices alone.  If you can’t answer that main question then the other part is not as relevant as you think.

That’s thing, the party is too invested in “woke.” How can they give it up? That’s who runs the party now. I mean, we call it woke but it’s just a radical form of progressivism. That’s what progressivism is now.

What they don’t realize is that boring moderates win elections for their party, in terms of policy etc.  They fixate on social issues and there is no evidence that voters give as much a shit about these things as they think.

Voters care about meat and potatoes issues .  And honestly if you have to take time to explain it , they are probably not going to be paying attention to you anyway.

Progressives on Twitter are actually blaming the media for being biased against Harris. That’s the lesson they’re taking away from this

I hate to be lumped in with the "others" but, I have no argument. Donny is a fuckimg idiot, but I truly believe his handlers have a better solution than the woke virus, participation trophy awarding ethos of the "other" guys. I used to think Trump voters were Neanderthals, maybe only 75% are. I feel dirty but, I know that in the long run, another Trump term will lead to progress, whichever party it is. Ugh this cycle truly sucked.

Sorry for the rapid replies, but I'm actually feeling all of this. As a self described slightly left of center guy, I feel alienated by both parties. I voted for McCain, Obama, Hillary and Biden. This cycle, I didn't feel anyone aligned with my eclectic positions. I think Donny is the most unqualified, least intelligent person to ever enter the political realm. I still feel that way to a certain extent, but I feel like even if were to boost his own ego,  he would do more than Harris. I know that shouldn't feel bad for making a civic choice, but it speaks volumes that a "centrist" like me would even consider voting for a literal idiot. Ugh can we keep my voting choice strictly on evo, lol.

Kamala will not (unless changes her mind).

It's over. Both sides know the real numbers already.

She lost.
