Re: 2024 “Taking Off”
According to Duff….a little disappointed we couldn’t squeeze out a few more singles…Monsters and Atlas Shrugged? Those are the last 2 which sound completed from the CD sessions. I am sure there are more but those 2 are firmly documented.
Has anyone noticed they don’t sell Chinese on their official site but they sell that half assed Appetite for Democracy video?

As much as I love Atlas, I almost kinda hope for a take of Goin’ Down with Duff on vocals. I think what we have left with vocals would all be good fits for the current band. Much better than Absurd.
An yes, I have noticed an have been very disappointed for the lack of Chinese Democracy love from even the band on their own website.

I'm sure there are not only 2 or 3 leftovers but more... Thyme, SOG, Atlas, Monsters, oh my god, going down, my Elvis and many more. We don't know wich ones they'll choose but they have a lot of material before they record and put out new material.

So, the schedule seems to be:
January-April 2024: SMKC tour in support of "4".
Summer 2024 (?): Slash solo album release and tour / Possibly new solo album/EP by Duff.
Fall 2024: Duff solo tour / Recording of next SMKC album.
2025: Release and tour (?) in support of new SMKC / GN'R tour (?)

Yep...other than performing a handful of CD tracks, they've acted like the CD era never existed since day one of the reunion.
I don't think it's going to change.

This is all the confirmation I need that my theory was on the right track.
2024 a silent year followed by a 2025-27 anniversary/AFD anniversary/farewell tour.
