Re: The 25 Best Hair Metal Bands
Even if Chinese Democracy ever does surface, who will really think of it as the work of Guns n' Roses? Without Slash? Without Izzy? Without Duff? It's like getting a peanut-butter cup with no chocolate, no peanut butter and only an oily rapper.[/i]
I've been saying this for years. This is the reality that all the fans of the new band want to ignore.
Good list overall for what it was. I'm not sure all those bands were really the same genre, but I guess close enough.

24) L.A. Guns: Known by many for being the band that once contained (if one could actually "contain" such a volatile gas) Axl Rose,
He's wrong on this, isn't he??
Anyway, cool list, not sure about the order. Also, I don't consider Aerosmith a "hair metal band". They were a 70's band that reunited during the hair metal scene, and I'll admit they had some hair spray use during that era. VH & Def Leppard aren't what I'd consider hair metal either, ok maybe DL. I'm not sure where he's going though, he seems to be going for actual "Good bands", not "Hair metal humor" by putting GNR, VH & Aerosmith higher and Bon Jovi lower. But then why Queensryche so low?? Personally I think Bon Jovi would fit in around 10th. He was dead on about Cinderella, they had a rock album around 90 that was pretty blues rock, went away from hair metal sound. Ashame the singer had throat issues.
Where's Poison??

No, Axl was in LA Guns for a time. I don't think he actually put anything out with them though.
