Re: Current Events...

Polands choice choice to lessen support for Ukraine seems confusing at first especially given they border Ukraine. But it will more than likely be temporary, there is an election there soon. One party will claim that the ruling party is spending funds on Ukraine instead of its own people, and the ruling party will counter that argument with an act like this. Soon after the election is done whoever wins will support Ukraine again regardless as it's in there interest to do so.

Poland has had designs on the Ukraine for centuries. Ultimately they dream about another Great Poland like in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Their first priority is to deny Russia, but once that was achieved their eyes returned to possible gains in the Ukraine. When Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia, the Poles used the situation as cover to grab a small region for themselves. I would not be surprised if they attempt something similar should the Ukraine collapse.

Then take into consideration Poland's military buildup which will supposedly make them have the largest army in Europe.

In another extremely embarrassing move, Russia's Black Sea fleet has been humiliated to the point they are pulling ships out of Sevastopol.

Can you imagine, even now, that the Ukraine still has trade with Russia?

This blew me away in the opening months of the war when Ukraine sent that team of diplomats to negotiate with Russia over the war while simultaneously having a different team negotiating a grain and fuel deal.

Seems to me the republicans want Ukraine to be taken…and Poland probably too…

The 82nd airborne division is sitting on the Poland-Ukraine border...and previously it was the 101st.

Nothing is happening to Poland.

The MAGAs only define success based on who is in charge.

And the other side doesn't? 18 You yourself just claimed Republicans want Russia to essentially steamroll through Poland even though not a single one of them has ever said that.

That crazy operation in Kursk has the US written all over it. Would Ukraine even have that ability?

Ukraine drone on a mission, Russia uses electronic warfare to jam it, causing an emergency landing at their base. Various people...including FSB agents, go to the runway to look at it up close and personal and to take pictures.

It blows up in their faces...killing them.

CNN — which launched in 1980 and bills itself as “the most trusted name in news” — totaled just 55,000 viewers for its weekend slate of shows that include Sunday political programs “State of the Union with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash,” and “Fareed Zakaria GPS.”

The network’s Sunday primetime lineup, which featured “The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper” and “Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy,” drew 43,000 in the demo.

The ratings are the network’s worst since 1991 — the earliest TV data is readily available.

“CNN is a ratings embarrassment,” an industry insider said. “At least with Thompson they will have a direction.”

How in the fuck is that possible? They could hire a monkey to do nothing but sling shit at the camera and pull in more than 55k viewers.

Anderson Cooper only brings in 43k viewers?!? Why is he still there? Anyone with those ratings should've immediately been fired.

What are Jesse Waters’s numbers?

I assume his numbers are probably worse...wasn't Cooper considered one of their big dogs?

I saw someone on Reddit make a great point...when you take into account all the hospitals, airports, and doctors and dentists offices playing CNN on a continuous loop in their waiting rooms, this means almost no regular people are watching this crap.

I had no idea it was that bad. It's basically a dead channel. Infomercials and white noise pull in better ratings.

I hate to say it...but long overdue.

She didn't even know what planet she lived on. There should be a huge investigation into how she was propped up in the Senate for years. It was like wheeling someone in a years long coma into the Senate to vote. Who was really voting for her? Who was buying that vote? Who was receiving the money?

Of course... nothing will be investigated because they're all corrupt to the bone.

I don't ever want to hear about "senile Reagan" after this fiasco. Reagan had some issues his last couple years but he at least knew what planet he lived on, the difference between his elbow and his asshole, and could still read his speeches and attend summits. He had the mental faculties of a young whippersnapper compared to Feinstein.

The people running Feinstein and the DNC have no shame. People should go to prison over this.

Is still too soon to fully investigate the fact she had a Chinese spy as her driver for 20 years?  How many of her votes had been bought off during that time frame?

Probably too soon because this is the part where we change the subject and start attacking McConnell.

I see her net worth is anywhere from 50-200 million. I'm sure every penny was made with hard work and there's not even a miniscule drop of funny business in there.
