Mostly before the time I started watching, but they did randomly bring him back for appearances now and again (when I was a kid).

RIP Funker.

Damn.

One of the all time greats.

If Flair never emerges from Mid-South and becomes an icon, I guarantee Funk gets a few more title runs in the early 80s until they can latch on to someone else.

I gotta rewatch the Flair-Steamboat-Funk angle. It's the highlight of late 80s NWA/WCW.

RIP Terry Funk. A man doing moonsaults with almost no knee's, a hell of a promo and seemed like an actual nice guy. Never heard anyone say a bad word about him and there isn't many in wrestling you can say that about.

The issue with bray was apparently that he got COVID earlier this year…it led to heart issues which led to a massive heart attack today.

RIP Bray Wyatt. Sadly with wrestling some you see coming, didn't see this one. Great on the mic, and 36 is no age to go at all.

You guys remember the Starrcade theme?

I loved hearing it. It instantly sends me into nostalgia mode.

I always thought it was something they created themselves. I checked today...and I was wrong.

Shockingly, this is who did the song....

It's weird hearing that music with vocals.

Apparently the music is written by Barry Gibb. Now that's not all that surprising...the music is really catchy.
