This show gives you the willies and yet it's interesting to see how these people survived near death situations.
The story last night of two girlfriends who made a fatal mistake of picking up a guy who needed a ride a few blocks away was horrifying. The one girl that survived told the story. My hair was standing up, he took her girlfriend out of the car and left her tied up in the car. He raped her girlfriend and slit her throat 3 times and stabbed her a bunch of times and broke the knife stabbing her in the skull. He got back into the car and told her, I just killed your friend. He then got her and walked her past her friend, she went to look and he stopped her from looking according to her, he was also covered in blood and she didn't even notice it. He took her to a train track bridge, to her if she wanted to live she had to strip. Ofcourse scared out of her mind she did, he raped her and then told her to kneel down facing away from him, then she couldn't breathe. He was strangling her with her shoelace. That didn't work so he tried to break her neck, that didn't work, then she struggled and wound up falling off the bridge into the water which was freezing. She floated playing dead on her stomach until she was under the bridge, then pulled herself up onto a bunch of logs. She didn't want to make a sound, she could see him walking on the bridge back and forth and see the light of his cigarette. He finally left and she floated down the rest of the river until she came to a busy street and no one would stop for her except a truck driver who happened to be an off duty police officer.
I can't even imagine this, she knows they were really not thinking when they agreed to let this guy in the car.
This show also had stories of people surviving a small plane wreck and you heard the complete 911 call, 3 men abandoned at sea and wound up on an uninhibated island another was a rape, she was shot and left for dead.
It's a show that you really can't watch more then two episodes in a row. With the murder stories, I just still can't imagine what people do to other people.

Yeah it's an interesting yet chilling show. I happened to be watching a marathon and just couldn't take another episode after watching 2...LOL, it really was too much for me. There is something to be said when listening to the person that survived tell the whole story, with 911 calls and graphics filling in bits and pieces, then a regular documentary. It affected me much different to the point I was completely unnerved.

I am really really sick of the reality tv shows because all it is (reality shows) is a poor cover for the fact there is a HUGE decrease in quality writers. BUT this one actually sounds good Laura! Makes maybe three I actually like.

I would consider this more like a glorified documentary. I really is a good show defintely check it out.
