DAMN.
Pee Wee's Big Adventure one of the best films of the 1980s. He was amazing in Blow. I might watch that tonight.
An iconic character. He didn't deserve what happened to him in the early 90s. God only knows how many Pee Wee movies we missed out on. I always hoped for the character to be in a murder mystery. Didn't happen obviously.
This is shaping up to be a bad year for celebrity deaths.

He had cancer for six years.
He wanted to do a Pee Wee's Big Adventure tour in 2020 but it got cancelled because of the pandemic.
He probably wanted one last Pee Wee experience for closure. Also sounds like he knew the other Pee Wee future projects/films weren't really going to happen.
As I mentioned above...too much time wasted thanks to those scandals.
