Re: If GNR releases nothing in 2023, is this the end for you?
You guys are right that a new song isn't going to fill near empty venues...but at this point, new material is the only thing they have left to try to sell tickets. Nothing else will get people talking.
They coasted too long and have painted themselves into a corner.
So either release something or go away for 2-3 years.

No offense but we aren’t getting shit….Perhaps is a nice mid tempo rock song but it really isn’t any better than Catcher in the Rye and Atlas Shrugged.
I assume those were the 3 songs Brian May worked on because locker tapes solos sound like him. Slash and Duff aren’t really going to make much difference on the demos we have.
We need something epic and I know one of those instrumentals has the mustard to get noticed.

Tommy said the third song Brian worked on was Riad. Presumably the take wasn't used.

Oklahoma or The General...and it looks like it'll be the latter.
I wish they'd save Perhaps as the second song to release.
They definitely need a scorcher. Perhaps...while good...is something that would've been left off UYI in favor of DC, NR, The Garden, Estranged....

He's sounding pretty good at the Glasgow show:
