In my opinion, having the three I mentioned would already be great.I think that are the songs finished but some of them are not going to get released right now with Slash or Duff.
Probably only 4 of them and Perhaps and The General are 2 of them!
I like everything you wrote... but I would already be happy to have PERHAPS in a short time.

I do find it very odd that we're getting all these songs piecemeal and not as an album. Though I suppose it's in keeping with GN'R's previous approach ahead of the Illusions – just random drops of individual songs like Civil War and KOHD on soundtracks and charity albums.

What a day! We got to hang out with rock legends Axl Rose and Slash in the studio today. Really cool guys! The band wanted a nice studio with a variety of speakers and headphones to listen to new mixes before they head for Glastonbury. Btw, it sounds awesome! ??

Holy shit....it's really on the verge of happening. I'm almost in shock.
Please let it be a legitimate EP with anywhere from 4-8 tracks and not a single while we wait months (years?) for the next single.
Whatever it is... we're not getting it now. They're still finishing it...but it's a great sign.
My prediction...
It comes out right before the US tour kicks off.

No. That’s just them in the studio listening to mixes with a live sound guy. This is just so they can sound good on Saturday at Glastonbury. Move along. No new music coming.

Some in the comments believe it's to listen to mixes of the show they they did to prepare for Glasto. That makes no sense whatsoever as a stadium in Oslow will not have the same acoustics as Glastonbury, A lot of people seem to be finding ways to talk them selves out of it happening and I get why.
However the most likely thing is probably true. We have been told new songs are coming, two of those songs have been spotted on a setlist & now there listening to mixes.
Seems pretty clear to me

I don't believe this... even though I'm one of the most cynical of all.
Why?
Because Axl doesn't give a shit enough about their sound to go studio hopping throughout world tours.
We already know something is on the horizon...and here they are at a studio.
1+1=2 in this situation IMO.
