Apparently she wanted to do an album with the Rolling Stones before coming up with this idea.
Dolly doing hard rock is about 20-30 years too late.
Had she tried this back in the 90s...and not just a cover album....it could have been very interesting.
Now? It's a novelty at best.
This reminds me....
We need that grunge album Mariah Carey recorded in 1994 that got scrapped and she did Fantasy instead.
